As a good analogy - even if someone knows nothing about clothes or fashion, they'll still be able to tell the difference between a tailored suit and a supermarket special.

What sort of commission work do I do?

I normally charge an hourly rate for commission work, however I am open to discussion based on your requirements and budget.
Discounts can normally be negotiated for repeat or ongoing commissions, and/or if I retain the rights to the works I create. Hourly rates start at £35.00, depending on complexity. A simple 4-minute instrumental track will normally take between 2 and 6 hours to produce, mix and master. If your project requires studio time for laying down vocals/instruments then this time will be charged separately, and additional time will be required for mixing afterwards. |
