My name is Rob Grant and I am a composer, music producer and DJ. The Orphic Creative project is my quest to create "music to think to". My mission is to craft beautiful and intelligent soundscapes which are more than just background ambiance - actively engaging the listener through a complex interplay of melody, rhythm and musical form.
Drawing on a wide range of inspirational sources from classical, jazz, downtempo and trip-hop, to electronica, synthwave, dance and techno, I create expansive, cross-genre musical sculptures with a multidimensional aspect, which aim to capture the interest of the listener without necessarily requiring vocal elements.
